Annual Service Contracts

If you have automated gates, We strongly recommend that a service be carried out at least once every 12 months to ensure your gates operate to their full potential.

Think of this as the same as the MOT on your car!

We have outlined the benefits of regular servicing for your information below:

  • To ensure that they are kept lubricated to enable efficient operation.
  • To ensure that they operate in a safe manner.
  • To identify any areas where equipment is worn or showing signs of failure.
  • To validate the three year parts warranty on CAME automation equipment.
  • To ensure that gates can be operated in manual mode.
Gate Servicing

Servicing the gates involves checking system operation and greasing the bearing points of the system. Once the service is completed we will send you a full check-list of jobs completed for your records, along with any remedial action recommendations, if any are required.

Manual Release

It is essential to be able to put your gates into the manual mode of operation. If there is a power cut, or a fault such that the gates will not operate, the only way of access and egress is by operating the gates in the manual mode.

We will respond to call outs to put gates into the manual mode, but we find that customers who call in these circumstances are generally in a hurry, and we cannot always attend site immediately. We recommend that gates are exercised in manual mode at least once a month. If you cannot put your gates into the manual mode, please contact us for advice.

CAME 3 Year Warranty

CAME gate automation equipment carries a three year parts warranty, subject to the gate system being serviced annually.

With CAME's worldwide returns figures proven to be less than 1%, no other manufacturer of gate automation and barrier products has this commitment to their product reliability.

It is because of this quality and reliability that Surrey Wrought Iron with only fit CAME automation systems to our gate installations.

We carry stock of CAME remote controls and some spare parts. Anything we don't have, we can usually get within 24 hours.
